About Us

Welcome to Copperfield Hearth & Harvest — our small, family-owned homestead nestled in the heart of Heber Springs, Arkansas. In 2023, we traded the busy pace of Florida for the quiet rhythms of small-town life, drawn here by a desire to be closer to God, to our family, and to a community where our children can grow up surrounded by nature, laughter, and the simple joys of childhood.

What began as a love for homesteading has grown into a family venture filled with purpose and passion. Amanda, the heart of our kitchen, bakes artisan sourdough loaves and pizza dough, crafts specialty cupcakes and cookies, and tends to our flock of happy hens who provide the farm-fresh eggs we treasure. William, with hands skilled in wood and glass, designs and builds beautiful mission-style walnut lamps and stained-glass creations — timeless pieces that bring warmth and character to any home. Madelyn shares her creativity through Paper Wings Collections, a line of hand-drawn art that reflects her unique spirit and eye for beauty. And Liam, with an eye for history and story, curates collectible vintage comic books and antiques — carefully chosen treasures that bring nostalgia and wonder to our family shop.

Every offering from our farm tells a story. From the tangy, healing benefits of our sourdough starter (fondly named “Doughlene”) to the rustic charm of farm-fresh eggs, to the sweetness of cupcakes and cookies baked with love — each product is made with care, tradition, and a touch of our family’s heart.

At Copperfield Hearth & Harvest, our mission is simple: to bring a little of our farm life to your table. We believe in the comfort of homemade, the beauty of tradition, and the nourishment that comes from food made slowly and shared with love. Whether you’re biting into a warm slice of sourdough, lighting your home with one of William’s handcrafted lamps, enjoying Madelyn’s artistic creations, or discovering one of Liam’s hand-picked vintage finds, we hope you feel the same sense of warmth, nostalgia, and connection that fills our own home.

From our hearth to yours — welcome to the harvest.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Where are you located?

We’re a small, family-owned homestead in Heber Springs, Arkansas. Our food products are made right here on the farm, with love and care.

2. Do you ship your baked goods or eggs?

At this time, farm-fresh eggs are not able to be shipped, but you may pick-up at our farm or we can deliver within 10 miles of Heber Springs for a small fee. Our Baked goods (like sourdough loaves, pizza dough, cupcakes, and cookies) are also best enjoyed fresh, so we currently offer local pick-up or delivery (within 10 miles of Heber Springs) only. Select handcrafted items (lamps, vintage finds, art, etc.) may be available for shipping — see individual product listings for details.

3. What is a sourdough starter, and how do I care for “Doughlene”?

Our sourdough starter (fondly named Doughlene) is a living culture of flour and water that naturally ferments and makes bread rise. She comes fresh and ready to use, with simple care instructions included. With regular feeding, she’ll thrive for years to come — providing endless loaves, pizza doughs, and more.

4. Are your products made in a licensed kitchen?

Our sourdough breads, pizza dough, cupcakes, and cookies are baked in our family home kitchen in Arkansas, under cottage food guidelines. This means they are homemade and not subject to state inspection, but crafted with the same care and cleanliness we give our own family’s food. We truly encourage you to consider this if you have allergies that may be affected.

5. Can I request custom orders?

Yes! We love working with our community. Whether it’s a special flavor of sourdough, cupcakes for an event, a custom lamp design or stained glass creation, you're searching for a collectible comic book or vintage item, reach out and we’ll see how we can bring your idea to life.

6. How do I know what’s in season or available?

Our inventory changes with the rhythms of the farm and family life. Check our website often for updated availability, or sign up for our newsletter to be the first to know about fresh bakes, new vintage finds, and special releases.

7. What kinds of lamps do you sell?

William handcrafts mission-style lamps from black walnut wood and stained glass. Each piece is one-of-a-kind, designed to be both functional and a work of art — something that can be passed down for generations.

8. What is Paper Wings Collections?

Paper Wings Collections is our daughter Madelyn’s line of hand-drawn art. Each piece reflects her love for nature, storytelling, mythology, creativity, and is available as stickers, bookmarks, framable prints, and more.

9. Do you accept returns?

Due to the nature of homemade and perishable items, we cannot accept returns on baked goods or eggs.
